Quack Quack!!

Little did we know that Colin would grow up to be an expert duck caller. We stopped at Cabela's on our way to Chicago and they had a duck calling contest going on. Colin was so intrigued and determined to find the ducks. He charmed the some of the people there with his curiosity and they gave him a duck call and taught him how to blow in it. He thought it was sooo cool! He drew lots of attention!! Chris was happy too because it meant lots of shopping time for him.

ABC's and Bumblebees!

Colin sings constantly around the house, but the minute we get out the video camera he stops....so, being the good parents that we are...we bribed him with a cookie. We got a few snip-its of the ABC's and the Bumblebee song; two of his favorites!!

Colin turns 2!!!

...Officially. Colin got to celebrate again on his actual birthday. They had a party at daycare where apparently he walked around saying " Happy Birthday to me" all day and then he got another cake at home. I think he would have been just as happy if we'd just stuck the candles in a banana...he still LOVES bananas. In addition to the bananas, he was really excited to blow out his candles!

1 1/2 months!

Kendra is already 6 weeks old. She definitely enjoys fresh air. She was really content hanging out on the beach at Sunset park. She smiles a bit and coos now and is starting to grip things well. She has also recently dropped her last feeding of the night...so mom is pretty pumped!
