"Colin ride the bus"

Colin's favorite part of the entire trip was getting to ride the bus! Every time we saw a bus he'd say, "I see a bus" or "Colin ride the bus". He loved it so much that my mom and I took him early one morning to the trolley stop just to ride the bus round trip. Wouldn't it be great if we were all that easy to please!

Speed Golf!

We played a CRAZY game of mini-golf...the first attempt with Colin. He was so excited. As soon as anyone hit the ball, he'd shout "oh-no, oh-no" and run as fast as he could to get it and return it to the player who lost it. The challenge for us was to see who could actually complete a hole without interference!

Celebrating Colin's 2nd Bday!

Colin had a fun 2nd birthday...he seems to have taken a liking to frosting. He just ate all the frosting off the cake, and then asked for more cake!

So many new toys to play with...I'm a lucky kid!!!

Fun at the Aquarium!

We took advantage of a rainy day and went to a really great aquarium in Gatlinburg. Colin loved all of the fish. He got to tunnel up into a tank filled with seahorses, see a diver feed fish, walk through a shark tunnel, and try to touch stingrays.

Enjoying the Smoky Mountains!

We were able to wade in the rapids next to our picnic spot. Colin loved it. The water was cold, but refreshing!

The whole crew!
Colin now knows the word "waterfall". He got to dip is feet in Laurel Falls!

It was a haul to drag the stroller 1.3 miles up hill...the boys did most of the work on that one...I helped on the downhill!

Matt's Wedding

We made it out to Virginia for Matt and Crystal's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony with a huge downpour at the end...so I don't have many pictures. Colin had a blast dancing with all the other kids. He didn't stop moving all night. Once we took him off the dance floor he just crashed!
Kendra dries off with her newest buddy, Asher!

1 month already!

Kendra is only one month old, and she's already a beach babe! We kicked off her one month by heading out on a big road trip to Virginia and Tennessee. Our first relaxation break was at the Indiana Dunes State Park. Kendra loved the fresh air and the beach was beautiful.

Colin ran and ran and ran in the sand....perfect to wear him out after being stuck in the car!

Colin's Baby

Elmo has become Colin's baby. He likes to change his diaper...he even puts "medicine" on his bottom. He also likes to put Elmo in the baby swing, cover him up with a blanket, and rock him!

Where did my baby boy go?!?

Colin got his first big boy haircut...much cooler for the summer, but he definitely looks like a big brother now!! Kendra visited his daycare room today and Colin was very protective of her. When the other kids got close, he firmly said, "leave the baby alone" and "my Kendra"
